Here I'll put some random stuff I write. Please not that this writing may or may not belong to something, but it still belongs to me. Thank you.
The Invasion
“Greetings, citizens of Earth. We have come today for war. You knew we were going to come eventually, but you didn't prepare. That's a shame. Prepare to be destroyed. Let's start with this country, over here. What's it called? The United States of America? That's nice. Do you there in the back have the bomb ready? Yes? Okay. Drop it. Now. Thank you. Good-bye, Americans.”
I looked up and saw the huge mass of metal falling out of the sky, right toward us. I knew we were doomed. Above, the leader of the aliens kept talking.
“Now, in a few moments America will no longer exist. Who's next? How about down there? What is that? Brazil. Okay. Drop bomb number two. There we go. Just bomb the rest of those landmasses down there. Yes, North and South America. Just hand me the map! Thank you. Look, the bomb is going to hit the United States in just a moment. What should we hit next? How about Aust-”
I couldn't hear anymore after that. The ground shook, walls tumbled, and smoke and ash filled my eyes, ears, mouth and nose. I choked and staggered on the rumbling earth. I lurched across the street, or what I though was the street. I couldn't tell the difference between the street and my backyard now.
Then the fire came. It appeared out of nowhere, enveloping me and everything around me. I knew I was going to die. My whole body was burning, I was dying. My head spun, and tears leaked from my eyes. My whole body shook with sobs as I collapsed into the ashes of what could have been anything. My house, my school, my favorite store. Then my eyes closed for what I believed to be the last time.
